Anxiety and depression are among the most common reasons people come to therapy, and they often show up together. You don’t need to be in crisis to benefit. If something feels off and it isn’t lifting on its own, that’s reason enough to reach out.

Signs therapy might help

  • Feeling overwhelmed, on edge, or stuck
  • Worry that loops and won’t switch off
  • Low energy or losing interest in things you used to enjoy
  • Changes in sleep or appetite
  • Strain in your relationships or at work
  • Leaning on alcohol or other substances to cope

How I work

I start by listening. My approach is Person-Centered, so I meet you where you are, without judgment. From there we look at what’s feeding the anxiety or depression, what has and hasn’t helped before, and what you want life to look like instead. I draw on other evidence-based methods, including practical coping skills, when they fit.

I don’t prescribe medication. If you’re interested in that, I’m glad to work alongside your doctor or prescriber.
